This large, north-facing garden is in a beautiful hamlet in the heart of the Cotswolds. The owners wanted to enhance and extend the small, overgrown terrace next to the house and re-plant the existing borders. As well as extending the terrace and adding new kitchen borders, a raised seating area has been added to accomodate a fire bowl in the evenings.
A large area of overgrown shrubs at the end of the garden has been replaced by a pleached hornbeam hedge and a new herbaceous border. A rose border now surrounds the beautiful thatched bothy and there is a new potting shed and work area from which the owners can enjoy pottering around their new garden.
